Setup

First way: for installation OMWeather download http://omweather.garage.maemo.org/install.html on your Nokia 770/N800 browser.

Second way: use Tools->Application Manager->Install new application->Applications and click on Install.

Third way: use Extras->X Terminal

$ dpkg -i package_name

Activation

Use Home->Select applets and choose OMWeather.

Customizing:

  • Station adding:
    1. Activate OMWeather on your Nokia 770/N800 desktop
    2. Click on any image on your desktop
    3. Click on the "Settings" button
    4. Choose "Location" bookmark
    5. Click on the "Add" button
    6. Choose country, state(province) and station(place), if it necessary
    7. Click on the "Add Custom station" button
    8. Enter station name or station code(ZIP code) in the appear window
    9. Click on the "OK" button
  • Station deleting:
    1. Activate OMWeather on your Nokia 770/N800 desktop
    2. Click on any image on your desktop
    3. Click on the "Settings" button
    4. Choose "Location" bookmark
    5. Choose the name of station
    6. Click on the "Delete" button
  • Interface configuration:
    1. Activate OMWeather on your Nokia 770/N800 desktop
    2. Click on any image on your desktop
    3. Click on the "Settings" button
    4. Choose "Main interface" bookmark
    5. Choose fields values from the falling out list
  • Updating:
    1. Activate OMWeather on your Nokia 770/N800 desktop
    2. Click on any image on your desktop
    3. Click on the "Settings" button
    4. Choose "Update" bookmark
    5. Choose updating time from the falling out list
